Giving Overview

 

Gifts to the Saints for Tomorrows Annual Fund offset the tuition gap between the actual cost of educating each student and paid tuition.  The Annual Fund covers our operating budget items each year such as classroom supplies, utilities cost, faculty salaries and basic needs.  Each contribution is a gift of confidence in our children and in the strength of our mission.  The gap in our annual operating budget is between $250,000-$450,000 per year, which fluctuates with enrollment, tuition and salaries.

 

Gifts to the Monsignor Beahan Education Endowment Fund demonstrate a lasting commitment to the financial viability of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School.  An endowment is an investment fund that allows a portion of the annual return on investment to be used for annual or capital purposes.  Once our endowment fund reaches $1,000,000, we would be able to withdraw about $50,000 each year for annual or capital purposes.
