Curriculum Overview First Through Fourth Grade

Our elementary school curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire students as they grow in independence and discover their God-given gifts. It is a standards-based curriculum that exceeds state requirements. Teachers use a variety of materials, including hand-on experiences, up-to-date textbooks, modern technology, projects, and field experiences, to help students engage with the standards in a well-organized and developmentally appropriate way. Recognizing that parents are critical partners in this process, the elementary curriculum includes common assessments and standards-based report cards (grades 1 and 2 only) to facilitate communication between home and school.
